History:
The Inn at Montross is a long-time Northern Neck landmark located in the county seat of Westmoreland County, Virginia.  The present day Inn was built in the 1800’s on the site of an earlier tavern from the 17^th century. A brick wall in the basement area is believed to date to the late 1600’s.  The three story structure has survived many roles during its lifetime, including as a tavern, hotel, restaurant, private residence, boarding house, apartments and even a school. In 2010 its current owners began a massive renovation and restoration of the Inn, resulting in beautifully redesigned interior dining areas and guest rooms, and an exterior face lift.

Guestroom/Accommodation Information:
The Inn has 5 Guestrooms which all boast the same amenities – Each room has a private bath, queen-size bed, free Wi-fi and your own heat/air climate control – they are all simply themed a little differently.  Room Rates are $169.00 Monday – Thursday and $189.00 Friday – Sunday.  Your stay includes a full hot breakfast.

Check-In & Check – Out:
Guaranteed check in is at 3:00 pm but we always urge you to get here as soon as you can; if your room is not completely ready, we can get you out into the Northern Neck to tour some history or have some fine Virginia wine.

Check out is 11:00 am (Sunday Brunch Guest – no worries, we won’t sell your goods – check out is when you are ready)

Daily B&B Breakfast is served from 8:00 am – 9:30 am. Available every day, even Sunday morning.
Guests will be asked about food likes and dislikes.

Sunday Brunch for Saturday Night Guest:
If your schedule allows, we invite you to sleep in Sunday and join us for Brunch beginning at 11:00 am.  Brunch is simply grander with a 12 Item Omelet Bar, 8 Item Belgian Waffle Bar, Breakfast Potatoes, Apple Smoked Bacon, Peel and Eat Shrimp, A Carving Station, Pasta du jour, Fresh Local Produce in Season and so much more…. Brunch is offered at $15.99 per person and we deduct your normal B&B breakfast at $6.50 per person from your Brunch tab – So you almost get one Brunch for free : )
House-keeping:
If you should need anything during your stay please simply ask your Innkeepers or any Inn at Montross Team Member.  For the quaintness and the environment – rooms are only entered at your request during a 2 night stay.  Extended Stay Guests will have their rooms turned over on the third day.

Cancellation Policy:
If your plans should need to change please note that we do require a 72 hour cancellation notice.  If the cancellation occurs after the 72 hours the entire room rate will be charged per room unless we are able to re-rent it before your intended arrival date – then of course no charges occur.  Please note we are able to remain human…Sick Children, Pets, Parents, Work and Weather live outside this rule : )  – Just call us as soon as your plans get confused.
